Advocacy and Policy Engagement on the COVID-19 Pandemic

This report focuses on the advocacy and policy engagement of the LWF and its partners during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

It is based on interviews conducted in 2021 and 2022 with staff involved in coordinating and implementing response to the effects of the global health crisis, including member churches and World Service country programs. It shows the solidarity of faith-based actors in addressing the pandemic’s impact on "already vulnerable and marginalized people." The report also offers recommendations that include a call on faith actors to engage in advocacy not only from a global perspective but also at the local and regional levels.
