International days

As a global communion of churches, the LWF observes a number of international days, as well as participating in annual ecumenical events, such as the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, or global campaigns, such as the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence.

International days that we mark each year because of their significance for our work include International Women's Day, World Refugee Day and World Humanitarian Day.
