Decided by the LWF Assembly gathered at Evian in 1970, the women desk at the LWF became operational in 1972. For its 20 years of existence in 1992, it published a survey made by the very first women who ensured that the LWF is an inclusive community. This publication – now available online - provides an opportunity to listen to the voices of women around the globe whose experiences are a story about the journey and bear witness of the prophetic voice of the Lutheran Communion who since its creation has created opportunities for women meetings.
