New Year Message 2016: "Every single one counts under God's reign”

“… If a shepherd has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the one that went astray?” Matthew 18: 12

In his 2016 New Year's message, LWF General Secretary, Rev. Dr Martin Junge refers to the parable of the lost sheep to illustrate the point that "every single one counts under God’s reign" and that "no life should be disregarded, ignored, discarded or left behind".  Rev. Junge calls on us all to remain passionate servants of the one who is left behind, particularly the world's poor and most vulnerable.
