Stewards Program for LWF Thirteenth Assembly

Last call for applications: 30 September 2022

Currently there are no open calls for this campaign

Young Lutherans (18-30 years) from LWF member churches are invited to apply to be stewards at the Thirteenth Assembly.

The Stewards Program will provide a space for sharing ideas, leadership development, and increased understanding of The Lutheran World Federation (LWF) and the role of its highest decision-making body, the Assembly.

Stewards are young leaders who commit time, energy, skills and knowledge in order to ensure the success of the Assembly. They also contribute to facilitating the next steps into LWF’s future.

They are called upon to perform various tasks that make deliberation, decision-making and worshipping at the Assembly possible.  However, in the life of the church, stewardship goes beyond performing technical, administrative or logistic duties.  It is a principle that is based on acknowledging the goodness of all God’s gifts and a desire to use them to serve God and the neighbor.

English required, addition official LWF languages preferred
