How to facilitate an SDG training

Would you like to conduct a training on the SDGs for your church, congregation, youth group or organization? Have a look at our training manual “Faith-Based Actors and the Sustainable Development Goals” and the related training materials. The manual provides guidance for organizing and facilitating a training on the UN Agenda 2030. It includes six learning modules on the SDGs, showing how they link to the work of faith actors, and concrete step-by-step instructions for training facilitators. The manual comes with four PowerPoint presentations and the so-called “SDG Cross-Cube” as a pedagogical tool to help training participants reflect on their learning progress. Are you wondering how you could make the contributions of your own church or organization to the UN Agenda 2030 more visible? Then check out KAICIID’s free online course “Engaging Faith Actors to Support the Implementation Process of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”. The LWF Waking the Giant initiative contributed training module 6 on “Assessing faith-based actors’ contributions to the SDGs”. You can either take the whole 7-modules online course, or opt for one of the modules contributed by different organizations. The course is also a great way to deepen your existing knowledge about Agenda 2030 and selected SDGs.
