Peace, Justice, and Reconciliation in Times of War

Peace, Justice, and Reconciliation in Times of War

2 Dec – 4 Dec 2024
Invitation Only

Churches reflecting together

LWF member churches across Europe have a role to play in the public discourse on the war in Ukraine. Each church understands the war the perspective of its own context.

The consultation aims to provide information on different positions in the face of the war and to strengthen meaningful exchange between them.

Participants will reflect on the range of possible Lutheran theological positions regarding peace and war. Through this, the consultation aims to support churches' work on their public witness for peace and reconciliation in their own contexts.
