During the first day of COP20, Fast for the Climate is hosting a one-hour fasting observance to show support for the message of the fast. 

Fasters will sit with empty plates while the Fast for the Climate official song, "Bring Back the Life", by Desert Rose plays in the background.

Other planned activities include:

• a short discussion on why fasting for climate action resonates with people from around the world.  
• a  Fast for the Climate press conference announcing a 365-day fasting chain from Lima to Paris, featuring faith, youth and NGOs partners
