Girls in School, Girls with Dignity

The LWF is pleased to be part of a faith-based coalition to end violence against girls and young women. We believe that activism promoting equal and respectful relationships is good news, all year round, wherever and whoever we are.

16 Days of Activism begins on 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and ends on 10 December, Human Rights Day.

Education provides the foundation for girls’ development on their journey toward adult life. It plays a vital role in helping women realise their potential economically, politically and socially.

Our partners: World Council of Churches, YWCA, Finn Church Aid, Church of Sweden, Mission 21, World Communion of Reformed Churches, Islamic Relief Worldwide, Anglican Communion, Norwegian Church Aid.
