"Men and women belong together," said Elaine Neuenfeldt in her presentation at the Lutherans’ confessional meeting at the 10th WCC Assembly in Busan. "There is no women’s issue. All issues are women’s issues," said Neuenfeldt, and added: "There is still so much silence in the church. There is violence and sexual violence against women. We have to spread our prophetic voice against that!" Neuenfeldt asked "how to be fully human?" and suggested to build up a new process, new practices and new policies.
