A new study group will provide further theological reflection and interdisciplinary analysis of LWF’s contribution to peace and reconciliation in contexts of conflict and war.

The LWF has initiated a study process on the theologies of the cross, to strengthen churches’ proclamation and Lutheran self-understanding.

A new task force will seek to define how the shared commitments of the LWF can be embodied by member churches.

Two new task forces will develop policies on climate justice and intergenerational justice to strengthen LWF’s work in these areas.
