At the Asia Pre-Assembly, the LWF General Secretary presented the theme of the upcoming Thirteenth Assembly, highlighting its relevance in the region.

Pröpstin Astrid Kleist has been appointed General Secretary of the German National Committee of the LWF. She will assume office in 2024.

The Jarmark “fair” will be a highlight of the Thirteenth Assembly where LWF member churches and partner organizations will showcase their work through exhibits and workshops. The opening day is on 14 September 2023.
