LWF President Stubkjær and General Secretary Burghardt met with key political leaders in Ukraine during solidarity visit

LWF leaders bring message of solidarity from global church to Lutheran congregations in Kyiv and Kharkiv.

“Keep proclaiming Christian hope, in words and deeds,” said the LWF President and General Secretary when they visited Ukraine this week. 

On their solidarity visit to Ukraine, LWF leaders experienced the reality of war in Kharkiv and spoke to people LWF World Service works with, hearing how they are affected by the war.
