It is a year to be reminded of what it means to be a communion of churches in so many ways, says the artist who designed the 2023 LWF Christmas card, as she explains the underlying message of unity.

LWF’s President, Danish Bishop Henrik Stubkjær, reminds us that Christmas is, above all, a call to action to bring light and hope into the darkest places of our world.

Amid the busy celebrations of the festive season, LWF’s President Archbishop Musa invites us all to stop and reflect on the way that God’s love is reflected in the face of a baby born in a stable in Bethlehem over two thousand years ago.
