In Chernihiv, a region in northern Ukraine that was occupied for two months, families are still feeling the impact of the invasion and Russian occupation in the spring.

LWF and partners have begun distributing food, hygiene products, and baby care products to Ukrainian refugees in Krakow and other cities in Poland.

While cities in Ukraine are being shelled day and night, LWF renovates school basements in Ichnya and Bobrovytsia to serve as bomb shelters. This is to make schools safe again for students to attend in person.
