LWF Contribution in Engaging Faith-Based Organizations

In this study, LWF highlights the untapped potential of faith-based organizations (FBO) in driving gender-responsive climate action, and the critical role of churches in achieving both climate justice and sustainable development.

The report presents an analysis of the UN Gender Action Plan (GAP) index and its implementation in 20 countries in Africa, Asia-Pacific, Latin America and the Caribbean. From the work of FBOs, the LWF suggests policy recommendations to improve national climate policies.
