The LWF maintains and supports a number of regional networks that gather regularly to encourage and learn from each other, as well as sharing knowledge and resources among their members. These networks aim to further strengthen LWF communion relations and to make more visible the gifts of each LWF member church.

These currently include networks for young Lutherans, women theologians, ordained and lay women, diaconal actors, communicators, LWF scholarship holders and those involved in theological education and formation.
