For Hope and a Future: Standing with Communities in Times of Crisis is LWF World Service’s 2025 Annual Report, and serves as a testament to the agility, adaptability and stubborn persistence of World Service during a year which was rocked by repeated shocks to the humanitarian and development sector.

Our work in 2025 continued to support populations displaced by conflict and disasters, in hard-to-reach areas. As conflicts escalated and spread in the Middle East, East Africa, Haiti and Ukraine, World Service responded and supported the provision of quality services, protection and social cohesion and climate and resilient livelihoods. Millions of girls and boys, women and men, received appropriate assistance and support to make choices impacting their own lives.
